Faye H. Ferguson
Faye H. Ferguson is a Managing Partner of Account Management & Operations for Burrell Communications Group. In a recent announcement, Faye Ferguson and McGhee Williams, former managing directors, along with Steve Conner, founder of the STEVE Agency, became the agency's new managing partners. The three share majority ownership of the agency. Publicis Groupe, the global advertising and communications agency network that formed a strategic partnership with the agency five years ago, maintains its minority equity stake.
Promoted to the position in November 1997, Ms. Ferguson became responsible for the overall management of the client services department. And is also co-chair of the agency's new business team.
Ms. Ferguson joined Burrell Advertising in March of 1984 as an account supervisor. She was made a Vice President in 1986 and was promoted to Vice President/Account Director in 1988. In 1992, she was promoted to management supervisor and to client service director in 1993. Ferguson is responsible for management of the Procter & Gamble and McDonald's accounts and co-chairs the new business committee for the agency.
Prior to joining Burrell Advertising, Ferguson served as Senior Account Executive at Bozell & Jacobs, Inc. where she managed the Alberto Culver account. Her accomplishments at Bozell include spearheading the national rollout of Mrs. Dash and Alberto Mousse.
Ms. Ferguson began her advertising career in 1978 at the Leo Burnett Company, progressing from Account Management Trainee to Account Executive. Her responsibilities included marketing planning for Pillsbury's Refrigerated Dinner Rolls, Sweet Rolls, Turnovers, Slice'n Bake Cookies and new products
Prior to her career in advertising, Ms. Ferguson taught eighth grade English for two years in Michigan City, Indiana. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Speech and Drama from Concordia College in Minnesota where she graduated magna cum laude. And has a Masters of Business Administration degree from Indiana University. Ms. Ferguson co-chaired the
ad book benefit for the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. She is also a panel leader for the PMA
