Soolip Selects Turner Patterson as Exclusive Licensing Agency

Los Angeles, CA April 21, 2006 Soolip, a manufacturer and retailer of letterpress cards and invitations, paper goods and lifestyle products, today announced that they have signed an agreement to retain TurnerPatterson as the exclusive merchandise licensing agency for the Soolip brands.

Founded in 1995, Wen, along with co-founding partner Grant Forsberg, brought to life her passion for letter writing, fashion and the paper arts. Since her teen-age years, Wen has always been drawn to fine aesthetics, tactile elements and clean design. Moreover, she enjoys the creative process of making things and sharing the designs, hopefully inspiring others. Upon not being able to find wedding invitations that suited her and Grant's style, Wen created their own sparking the beginnings of Soolip. Soon afterwards, Wen, became passionate about the traditional printing method known as letterpress, and acquired two antique presses giving them a permanent home in her studio. "Working with paper, I find gratifying both creatively and spiritually. Because of my fashion background, my approach to paper and invitations has a definite fashion sensibility. I treat paper as fabric and am drawn to the tactile quality of paper and its many creative applications. Also its origins are from nature where I derive much of my inspiration."
Soolip has made a name for itself by becoming a retailer and manufacturer of high end paper goods and lifestyle products through Soolip Paperie & Press, Soolip Bungalow , Soolip Custom Letterpress, Soolip Greeting Cards, Floracopia at Soolip and Entertaining Elephants at Soolip, its newest addition focused on colorful children's clothing. The brand has also become the style moniker in the luxury bridal market through its production of "A Soolip Wedding".
Soolip has a tremendous celebrity and corporate clientele which includes Halle Berry, Charlize Theron, Kevin Bacon, Sandra Bullock, Steve Martin, Jennifer Aniston, Will Smith, Katie Holmes, Janet Jackson, Hilary Swank, Reese Witherspoon, Lucy Liu and Lexus.

TurnerPatterson will seek product licensing opportunities for Soolip initially targeting bridal and , greeting cards, invitations, tabletop, body and bath, home décor, publishing and children’s products. “Soolip is such a respected and quality lifestyle brand.
